What to do if your payment method has been declined


Your payment method might have been declined due to several reasons such as: 

 

  • Lack of available funds or Airtime
  • Expired card
  • Your bank blocked the payment for security reasons
  • The country that issued the card is different from the one you're using for signing up
  • The CVV was not entered correctly
  • Connectivity issues with our payment processor.

 

Available funds

Before trying with your payment method again, please check if your card has enough funds and if it is still valid, or that you have available Airtime.

 

Retry payment in private browsing mode 

You could also try using a different browser or opening your current browser in incognito mode. Here are the instructions for using Incognito mode in the browsers we support:

  • Browse InPrivate in Microsoft Edge
  • Turn on Safari Private Browsing


Connectivity issues

If everything looks right to you, it may be connectivity issues with our payment processor. Double check your internet connection or try again later.
